FAQ

  • What is the X-Former, and how does it differ from traditional Pilates equipment?

The X-Former is an advanced piece of equipment designed to provide a full-body workout with adjustable resistance. It offers a more dynamic and challenging workout compared to traditional reformers, targeting strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.

  • What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Pilates socks with grips are mandatory to prevent slipping on the equipment.

  • Do I need prior experience in fitness to use the X-Former?

Not for our Beginner classes, they are designed for all levels and are the perfect place to start. You’ll learn the fundamentals of the X-Former at a comfortable pace with plenty of guidance from our instructors.
We recommend completing at least 5-7 beginner classes before moving into Intermediate sessions, which are more challenging and suited for those with prior fitness experience.

  • What should I expect in my first class?

In your first class, you’ll be introduced to the basics movements on the X-Former. Our instructors will guide you through each movement, ensuring you’re comfortable and confident. Arrive 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork and get familiar with the studio.

  • Are private sessions available?

Yes, we offer private and semi-private sessions tailored to your individual fitness goals. Please contact the studio for private/group bookings.

  • How often should I attend classes for maximum results?

For optimal results, we recommend attending 3 to 4 times weekly. This helps build strength, flexibility, and endurance while allowing recovery. Consistency is key! Listen to your body to maintain balance and avoid overtraining.

  • What are the styles of classes?

At LP, we train with purpose. Our method blends progressive overload with mindful movement, guiding you to get stronger while maintaining posture, form, and body awareness. Every class is built on slow, intentional transitions—never rushed, never forced—so strength unfolds naturally and sustainably. LP is its own method: we aren’t a Classical Pilates studio, and we aren’t a Lagree studio. We’re something different, designed to help you glow from the inside out.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 12 hours' notice for class cancellations and 48 hours for private sessions. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for more details.
